Call for Author Readings at Write with Music Festival 2023

 

We are currently inviting authors to participate in our festival by conducting readings and engaging with our diverse audience.

Date: 11 November 2023

Time: 10am

Venue: Bloomgrey Hub, Gbagada, Lagos

How to Participate:

To be considered for a reading slot at the Write with Music Festival, please submit the following information to letswritewithmusic@gmail.com by October 18^th 2023

1. Author Information:

   - Full Name

   - Contact Information (email and phone)

   - Brief Author Bio (100 words)

   - Website or Social Media Links (if applicable)

2. Book Information:

   - Title

   - Genre

   - Brief Book Synopsis (200 words)

   - ISBN (if available)

   - Publisher (if applicable)

3. Proposed Reading:

   - Title of the Reading

   - Description of the Reading (200 words)

   - Estimated Duration (15-30 minutes)

4. Sample Reading:

   - Please attach a 1–2-page sample of the material you intend to read.

 Selection Process:

Our committee will review all submissions and select authors based on the quality and relevance of their work. We will notify selected authors by October 23^rd 2023.

Please note that participation is voluntary, and we may not be able to accommodate all submissions due to limited time slots. Authors selected to participate will be responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
