WWMFESTIVAL WRITING CONTEST: A MEMORY OF WORDS AND MUSIC

 A Memory of Words and Music.

Calling all writers and musicians to join the most creative fusion contest of the year, sponsored by Vitavisco and Write with Music Festival. We believe in the power of creativity, and we're thrilled to challenge you to bring together the worlds of words and music in a unique and inspiring way.

Categories.

1. Lyric Writing: Write original song lyrics of ten lines that creatively capture a theme related to memory. Your lyrics should be evocative, imaginative, and musically engaging.

2. Short Story Writing:  Craft a 100word short story that incorporates memory as a central element in a creative and intriguing narrative. Your story should captivate the reader's imagination.

3. Poetry: Write a ten-line poem that creatively captures a theme related to memory. Your lines should hold great imagery and relatability for listeners.

Submission Guidelines:

- Submissions must be original and previously unpublished.

- Participants must be following @vitavisconig @wwmfestival

- Entries should be in English language.

- Be registered to attend the Write with Music Festival

- Submit your entry to letswritewithmusic@gmail.com including a brief description of how memory plays a significant role in your creative piece.

 

Prizes:

Applicable to Each Category:

  - Two (2) Visco Elastic Memory Pillows.

  - Featured on Vitavisco and Write with Muisc Festival’s website and social media

  - A Goody Bag from Write with Music Festival.

 

Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

- Creativity and originality

- Relevance to the contest theme

- Artistic expression

- Writing or musical quality

 

Important Dates:

- Contest Opens: 18^th October 2023

- Submission Deadline: 30^th October 2023

- Winners Announcement and award will take place on the 11^th November 2023 at Write with Music Festival
